Social Annotation

Here's another interesting application that I have heard about before, but had not had the proper name -- another interface that lets you highlight, clip, or sticky-note on a webpage just like the immigrants have done with paper and then you can share your notes etc with others. THe interface is called diigo and can be found at http://www.diigo.com/ ...so will this make reading e-text materials on-line as easy as I find curling up with a book and highlighter, post-it notes, or paper & pen.
